At Eve’s Court our food reflects the landscape and spirt of Papple – rooted in East Lothian’s produce, inspired by its heritage, and guided by the seasons. The new Cafe & Wine Bar is built on simplicity, ingredient quality and a sense of place, showcasing the region’s growers, farmers and coastline.
We keep things approachable and honest, with refined dishes designed to evolve and change, celebrating what’s at its best in the moment.

Winter season opening: Thursday to Monday 10am til 6pm
Our cafe & wine bar is open to everyone. To be enjoyed if staying in our luxury accommodation and for those exploring Papple as one of East Lothian’s finest destinations.

Coffee with friends
We open each morning serving a small collection of cakes and pastries, baked in house and inspired by the landscape of Papple. Thoughtfully made, seasonal and a little different from the everyday. These enjoyed alongside our specialist coffee and tea.
The pastry runs exclusively until 12pm when this continues with our lunch offering throughout the rest of the day.
Lunch experience
From 12pm our menu moves into a collection of dishes designed to suit the rhythm of the day – whether a quick, satisfying lunch or a more leisurely meal shared over a few glasses of wine.
Each plate is complete in itself, yet equally at home in the middle of the table, encouraging a relaxed social way of eating. The menus is built to suit those pausing for an hour or those who enjoy to stay a little longer and enjoy the space.
Papple Cellar
While you dine why not explore our wine list, choose an unusual wine sample or glass from our Enomatic Wine Machine, or pick from our house list or unusual wine cellar. Wine experience at Papple is something a little different and we look forward to sharing our wine passion with you.

Take a peaceful, restorative walk through our 18-acre wildflower meadow, famed for being the largest in the Lothians. It’s the perfect way to unwind and reconnect with the countryside before or after your time at Eve’s Court.
