Master of Wine Olivier Humbrecht to Host Exclusive Winemaker Dinner at Papple Steading
We are thrilled to announce a truly exceptional evening of fine wine and dining at Papple Steading on Friday 4th December 2026.
We are welcoming one of the world’s most revered winemakers, Olivier Humbrecht MW of Alsace’s legendary Domaine Zind-Humbrecht. As France’s very first Master of Wine and a global pioneer in biodynamic viticulture, Olivier will be guiding guests through an extraordinary selection of his world-class wines.
The evening begins at 6:30pm with a canapé and sparkling wine reception in the new Richard Demarco gallery. This will be followed at 7:15pm by a magnificent four-course dinner in Eve’s Court restaurant, featuring seven accompanying wines carefully chosen to complement the depth and complexity of the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht portfolio.
With only a limited number of places available, this is a rare opportunity for wine lovers to share a table with a true titan of the wine industry in the setting of the new Steading complex.

A continental breakfast is included for Friday night guests, served on Saturday morning from 8:30am to 10:00am in Eve’s Court. If you choose to extend your stay across the weekend, you can book for three nights at the price of two, with options to book further lunches, dinners, and breakfasts in Eve’s Court.

Transport and Travel
- Return Coach from Edinburgh: A dedicated minibus and coach transport service is running from central Edinburgh on Friday 4 December for the reception and dinner. Pick-up and drop-off will be at Waterloo Place (EH1 3EG), costing £30 per person. To reserve a seat, email reservations@papple.com.
- By Rail: The nearest railway station is East Linton.
- By Car: There is ample free parking on-site at Papple Steading.
