Overview
Richard Demarco, The Highland Shakespeare Company, and Papple are delighted to present a unique promenade Elizabethan Masque, offered as a Demarco contribution to the Edinburgh Festival.
Set amid the ancient Papple Woodland, this enchanting production blends an original score, Shakespearean theatre, masking, and dance. A light, dreamy reimagining of the story from A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the masque evokes the magical world of Faeries and the timeless search for harmony within Nature.
United by a shared passion for creativity, art, music, and verse, this collaboration embodies a celebration of both the performing arts and the natural landscape.
