There’s an abundance of lush green space at Papple. Guests have exclusive use of the perfectly manicured lawns teeming with colourful borders, a foraging garden generous in native plants, and an uncut grassland with a hidden Celtic design maze.

Unique to Papple is a seven-acre wildflower meadow located in ancient woodland through which the Papana water runs. Papple Wood, adjoining the farmhouse, is a charming managed wood with a winding path which passes artisan-built follies, animal structures and a children’s play area.

The fire pit with log seats is the perfect spot for roasting marshmallows beneath the mystical ruins of the ancient Papple Convent.
