Regional Finalist for a 2024 Civic Trust Award

We were thrilled to be considered as one of the seven best new buildings in Scotland by the august body of architects, RIAS. CameronWebster Architects and Ian Parsons Architect did wonderful work on our “Phase 1” which was recognised as outstanding in the quality of its faithful restoration to the original 1860 plans and the project’s transformation of derelict buildings into functional and stylish accommodation.

And then as we tripped into 2024 we were absolutely surprised to be listed as a Regional Finalist for a 2024 Civic Trust Award. One of only eight finalists in Scotland and again the only one in East Lothian.

The judges rated the restored buildings and our work to preserve stone walls, meadows and woods and noted the establishment of our forest garden.
